About This Role
The Sales Support professional plays a critical role in enabling timely and accurate service sales quoting for mission critical data center customers. This role is responsible for developing service repair quotes, pricing service agreements and change orders, and actioning field generated technician leads. Success in this role requires urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to quote requests supporting high‑impact data center needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate service repair quotes for data center sites supporting corrective, preventative, and emergency service needs
- Use the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tool to price service agreements, change orders and scope adjustments for existing data center accounts
- Support pricing and documentation for data center service offerings, ensuring compliance with commercial, technical, and financial requirements. Follow the sales gate process for quote review
- Respond with urgency to incoming quote requests, understanding the time sensitive, uptime critical nature of data center operations
- Partner with Field Service Technicians, Field Service Managers, and Sellers for input on quote parameters
- Work with Field Service Managers to review Technician generated leads for quoting opportunities, and ensure follow-up and closure
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, approvals, and changes within our CRM platform
- Assist with reporting and tracking of quote volume, cycle time, and win/loss feedback
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in sales support, service quoting, inside sales, or commercial operations or Associates Degree with 3+ years of experience in sales support, service quoting, inside sales, or commercial operations or a High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience in sales support, service quoting, inside sales, or commercial operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Sales, HVAC and/or Controls
- Experience working with CPQ tools and pricing service offerings
- CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
- Familiarity with service agreements, change orders, and aftermarket service models
- Experience working closely with field technicians and service operations teams
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation
- Strong skills in written and verbal communication, analysis, organization and time management
- Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment
