About This Role

Service Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise with light applied equipment (ART, ACC, Light WCC, Splits). Maintains effective communication and frequent contact with key customers and field team members, performs highly complex diagnostic procedures, and prepares reports for the senior leadership team. Communicates technical information to key stakeholders and keeps key customers and field team members up-to-date on outstanding issues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains effective communications with key customers and field team members to ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate.
  • Maintains frequent contact with key customers which requires a high degree of tact and courtesy.
  • Acts as the expert in product knowledge/subject matter.
  • Performs highly complex diagnostic procedures.
  • Prepares reports for senior leadership displaying interpreted test information to resolve design/system related problems and to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Communicates technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • Ensures that key customers and field teams are kept informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • 5+ years of experience on light applied equipment (Applied Rooftop Units, Air Cooled Chillers, Water Cooled Chillers, Split Systems)
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clean and valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or building HVAC.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem solving, planning, and management skills.
  • Ability to read and understand the scope of work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.
  • A true team player who has the customer’s best interests first and foremost.
