About this role
Carrier and Automation Logic have a position for a professional who responds to customer calls, troubleshoots complex customer issues, provides training to customers, and performs complex data analysis. As a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer, it will also include to provide guidance to less experienced team members and makes changes to daily work procedures to ensure high levels of performance. The focus will be on offering support to Automated Logic Dealers worldwide on the ALC and OEM product line.

This is an onsite role in Kennesaw, GA with flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer Tier 3 WebCTRL support to Automated Logic clients worldwide as part of a team of skilled support engineers
- Responsible for providing online and phone based technical support to the Automated Logic Dealer network, on all hardware, software, and firmware products
- Deal effectively and efficiently with people in a wide variety of situations
- Provide constructive feedback to the documentation and training teams (occasional training)
- Perform final testing for any new product
- Play an integral role in beta testing of our program(s)
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA in Engineering
- 2 years plus experience in IT networking
- 2 years plus experience in building automation
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Work Experience in automation controls i.e. engineering, field technician, job start-up & service
- HVAC controls experience
- BS/BS Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science
- IT or Technical certifications
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Understand fundamentals of TCP/IP, and computer hardware & software configuration
- Knowledge of current and previous generation Windows O/S
- Familiar with database fundamentals
- Generate, review, and edit technical information used in hardware and software products
- Linux experience
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent English verbal and written skills and able to communicate effectively
