About This Role
As an established Project Coordinator professional you will be managing the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining budgets and staffing requirements, and is responsible for estimating project costs, gathering and analyzing data, preparing progress reports, coordinating project tasks with various functional organizations, and identifying project problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be first point of escalation resolution for other team members
- Main point of contact for one or more large profile customer
- Responsible for all reporting to meet large profile customer needs
- Identifies and coordinates resolution of technical problems and escalations, ensuring solutions result in successful project installation for customer, while meeting business needs
- Implements best practices across the team, including project infrastructure development, and ensures adherence to procedures; engages the team in improvements and use of ACE (or equivalent) tools; is an influencer amongst the team for positive improvements
- Works closely with other teams to ensure collaboration and positive teamwork; encourages teamwork and empowers the teams to excel
- Provides reporting and metrics for leadership team, including historical, current, and future project performance, staffing requirements, and projected efficiency improvements
- Communicates customer standards and requirements to team members; ensures adherence to standards
- Acts as the primary point of contact for aggregating data, reporting, and communications for mid to large-scale customer portfolios of projects (which may be called Programs) which may involve collecting information and status from other Project Coordinators to compile and report overall status and metrics
- Conduct internal monthly meetings/check ins with team members handling projects from large profile customers, to ensure projects and standards are kept on track
- Build and maintain Salesforce metrics and reports for team and customers
- Act as lead contact for internal projects
- Work on large standard work projects to ensure all processes are successfully documented, and drive changes for more efficient processes
- Supports team manager; performs certain supervisor duties when manager is absent or out of office
- Develops strategies with manager to promote team member adherence to company and performance goals, metrics, and standards
- Drive self learning; be a mentor and coach to other team members
- Perform additional duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of project coordinating experience
- 2+ years of customer account management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to create program specifications, standard work, and documents that can be utilized by technical personnel as well as end-users
- Capable of working in a demanding environment with aggressive timeframes and multiple conflicting demands while presenting a calm and confident presence to team and customers
- Proven ability to initiate improvements and drive change
- Ability to root cause potential issues in complex projects and initiate meaningful corrective and preventive actions
- Demonstrated aptitude to lead individuals
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) desired
