Carrier is actively recruiting for an Associate Director, FP&A to join the team in Indianapolis, IN.

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and self-motivated person, responsible for leading the Indianapolis factory finance team and business partnering to deliver operating results for the company.
The ideal candidate will have accounting and finance experience supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation. Overall, this position will provide financial leadership across our Indianapolis gas furnace factory which includes support of the monthly close & forecast process, annual plan, variance analysis, KPI tracking & reporting, identifying and driving factory productivity and overall management support.
Responsibilities:
Manage, direct and coordinate the monthly financial close and forecast, including analysis and reporting; drive plans to correct issues
Prepare and coordinate the annual business plan cycle, including the establishment of financial targets, metrics, and guidelines; calendar of submissions and reviews; coordination of functional team submissions
Drive productivity in the plant by identifying risk and opportunities and working cross-functionally to implement productivity projects
Lead project-based financial analysis and modeling to support profitability and productivity projects
Responsible for cost accounting, internal controls, hourly payroll, fixed assets and all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including documentation, testing and remediation efforts
Ensure preparation of financial information is in accordance with GAAP and prepares company for internal & external audits
Provide oversight and direction to plant finance team employees with a focus on their development and meeting the needs of the factory
Provide financial leadership across the factory as a member of Plant Manager’s staff
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance role
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 7 years of experience in in a finance role with strong preference to experience in a manufacturing environment
CPA/CMA certification preferred
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel, HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and PowerPoint
Exceptional analytical skills, significant experience in financial forecasting and expertise in the development of financial models
