Carrier is actively recruiting for a Senior Manager, FP&A to join the team in Indianapolis, IN.

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and self-motivated person, responsible for business partnering to deliver operating results for the company.

The ideal candidate will have accounting and finance experience supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation. Overall, this position will provide financial support to the North America Residential and Light Commercial Operations FP&A team which includes support of the monthly close & forecast process, annual plan and long-range planning, variance analysis, KPI tracking & reporting, and overall management support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the consolidation of RLCS’s 8 factories for monthly closing, forecast, plan and long-range planning

  • Consolidate & analyze all aspects of the factory financials including, labor & burden, price variance, scrap, project costs, and other material variances

  • Lead the capital and project cost consolidation process for the RLCS organization including factory, engineering, and other management spend

  • Track indirect and capital spend across the factories to ensure visibility and budget management

  • Work closely with the factories to drive bottom line improvement including performance improvement plan updates

  • Assess risk & opportunities across the factories

  • Support ad hoc initiatives and projects including development of BI dashboards

  • Support working capital analysis across the factories and warehouses to drive optimal levels of inventory and forecast accuracy of accounts payable

  • Oversee the factory’s annuals standard cost roll: coordinate the with factories and align on deliverable dates and assumptions, function as the liaison between factory and supply chain, oversee factory reconciliation process between standards and the financial plan

  • Support the development of periodic management presentations and supporting schedules, including business reviews, strategic plans, and other leadership presentations and annual plans as needed

  • Provide oversight and direction to a Financial Analyst with a focus on their development and meeting the needs of the business

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA/CMA certification, preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance
