About this role

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the Fall of 2023. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. In addition, Carrier offer flexible hours as well as location (Hybrid mode).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the global board to create, evolve and maintain the operating frame and timeline of the ERG.
  • Responsible to support the training of ERG leads and tracking of key projects that contribute to the programs’ success.
  • Developing cross-functional processes/trackers/tool/communication for events.
  • Enabling and ensuring great collaboration between regions and local chapters across the globe.
  • Support the global team to make clear process documents to ensure you are a “one-stop-shop” for streamlining the connections between ERG leads and local teams, particularly for events, communications, and key moments.
  • Meet regularly with ERG leads and ERG members to communicate key priorities, align on progress, and build relationships.
  • Drive transparent and effective communication to ERG board regarding program progress, flags, and decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program
  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
  • Pursuing a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain order, focus and calm in times of ambiguity, emotion, stress, or changing priorities.
  • Have a roll-up-your-sleeves and get the work done attitude.
  • See the glass half full.
  • To be sympathetic with our mission
  • Be familiar with SharePoint management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT needed; excel would be a plus)
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
