Carrier is actively recruiting an Associate Director, ERP Transformation to join the team in Charlotte, NC.
About the Role:
This position will act as the business lead and manager of the SAP business team for the migration of the Charlotte Applied business legacy applications to SAP. This team will be part of a larger project team of external consultants and Carrier digital resources. The SAP Business Project lead will act as the co-lead for the entire project team, partnered with a member of the Carrier ERP COE.
Responsibilities
Serve as lead manager and lead for the SAP business team for our Charlotte Applied business
Oversee team of 15 direct reports
Manage $10M+ budget and ensure project timeline on track
Oversee overall team effort and project related tasks to report periodically with progress updates
Coordinate with subject matter experts throughout the organization to create proper functional and technical design requirements
Analyze existing business processes to try and gain efficiencies and take advantage of SAP capabilities
Conduct Performance Connections in conjunction with Carrier best practices to maintain and build a strong team culture
Transition all current legacy functions to SAP (or other business systems/processes) so that the legacy application can be retired post go-live
Act as the voice of the business for the SAP project Reduce or eliminate existing process/IT waste through SAP optimization
Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity
Contributes to the department or business unit by applying their advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas
Develop and coach others
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years of operations and digital/ERP transformation experience
Ability to travel when required (10-20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT
MA/MS degree in Business or IT
Minimum of 4 years of operations and digital/ERP transformation experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in leading the delivery of IT system migration
Strong Project Management background leading teams
