About this role

Senior Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional with significant experience. Develops and implements network, supplier. Manages category spend for a specific region and is responsible for building short and long-term Heat Exchangers category strategy to ensure operational efficiencies.

• Responsible for building short and long-term Heat Exchangers category strategy to ensure operational efficiencies
• Establishes a cross-functional network and fosters collaboration with suppliers, wider supply chain organization, engineering, quality, and product management
• Owns the vendor performance data and reports metrics to leadership
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to work with a sense of urgency under demanding deadlines
• Highly efficient project management abilities and the ability to balance multiple projects
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills 
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrates self-initiative, sense of ownership, quality, and customer satisfaction orientation
• Establishes a cross-functional network and fosters collaboration with suppliers, wider supply chain organization, engineering, quality, and product management
• Owns the vendor performance data and reports metrics to leadership

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, business
• 5+ years’ experience in sourcing environment, familiarity with strategic sourcing concepts and lean tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM) is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution), category or industry specific experience preferred
• Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment
• Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication
• Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization
• Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data. Very comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
