About this role

Automated Logic in Kennesaw, GA has a position for a seasoned professional in Project Management, who can work independently, and support the development of project plans, schedules & budgets. Duties include facilitate project tasks with various functional organizations, forecast project revenues, track progress, identify project problems, and recommend resolutions. This is a great opportunity for someone to work as a Project Manager on multi-million dollar projects in the data center construction domain worldwide.  

Work onsite in Kennesaw if you are not traveling globally to manage multiple projects. Global and domestic travel up to 50% but not longer than 2 weeks at a time.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and adherence to the development of project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Track progress and identify/resolve obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules
  • Forecast project revenue and re-estimate project costs on a monthly basis
  • Monitor costs to maximize project profitability
  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance
  • Maintain and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met
  • Identify and address project problems and recommend resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Accountable for the overall financial performance of assigned projects i.e. project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects
  • Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identify issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues

Basic Qualifications

  • High School or GED
  • 4 years plus Project Management experience in either construction management or controls field industry, HVAC, or Building Automation

  • College
  • BA/BS degree
  • MA/MS
  • Microsoft Office Suite and other Windows products
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and project management skills
  • English written and verbal communication skills
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting
