About this role
Interns will apply scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions. Ensures novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools. Interns will be expected to work part-time during the fall semester.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, design, and test electrical components and equipment
- Produce products to specifications while using cost-effective and efficient means
- Analyze and evaluate new or improved components
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering related fields
- 3.0 or higher GPA
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems
- Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests
- Knowledgeability in CAD software
- Knowledgeability in serial/network communication
