We are seeking a New Product Marketing Specialist for Air-Cooled Chillers. These machines which typically use scroll and screw compression, are applied in some of the most important building projects around the globe. This individual will develop and execute the product marketing plans and oversee research and analytics to support and contribute to the development of marketing strategies. Responsible for prioritizing projects and identifying opportunities of improvement to enhance Product Management performance.
Responsibilities
Collects and analyze macro- economics, industry and target market information to forecast market size of commercial air-cooled chillers & heat pumps.
Conducts competitive product and service analysis, and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience to develop product requirements and specifications.
Collect and track regional/geographical regulatory trends (related to but not limited to refrigerants, minimum efficiency, building codes, etc.)
Set key performance indicators, product and program targets
Conduct voice of channel and voice of customer
Coordinates or participates in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.
Identifies, develops, and implements near-term and mid-term business strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies, services, follow-on products, and/or industries to ensure profitability and positioning in the market.
Initiates and prioritizes projects, tracks product/service development and develops product/service launch plans to effectively manage a product or service category's life cycle and ensure profitability.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of program and market planning on a global basis. You will work with a cross functional team (end customers, sales engineers, development engineering, marketing, manufacturing and finance) to define what the next generation of chiller products will look like. From there, bring products out for launch. Work with end users, sales and marketing teams to continuously update product targets for ongoing improvement. Assist field sales with training and actively support strategic projects. You will work with colleagues around the globe
Support pre-sale customer visits (at Carrier factories and field sites) including meeting with customers and providing technical presentations
Work closely with sales on strategic projects
Manage new product introduction action tracker
Conduct new product training, communicates product and system strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering
6+ years of experience product management or product marketing
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 25%
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
HVAC industry experience including commercial sales, product management or application engineering
Experience with marketing activities (like branding management, sales tools development, and promotional materials)
Key traits include personality defined by positivity, responsibility, integrity, accountability, and respect culminating in a strong work ethic
Combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers at various levels within an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional ability in presenting and speaking in front of a large variety of audiences
