About this role 

As a Demand Management Associate, you will create and maintain analytically driven demand, supply, and inventory plans; then work with key functional partners to reach consensus on those plans and ensure cohesive execution of the business. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

·       Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery. 

·       May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement. 

·       Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP. 

·       Partner with Customer Service, Sales, and Supply Planning to ensure accurate customer demand is reflected. 

·       Review and compare forecast data to incoming customer orders. 

·       Ensure success of Customer Service Team by communicating any customer orders received outside of forecast / leadtime. 

·       Manage customer orders and inventory levels to ensure customer requirements are met 

·       Customer order entry / change. 

·       Manage customer open order reports to reflect accurate demand. 

·        

 

Required Qualifications  

·       Bachelor’s degree  

·       2+ years of experience in Planning 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

·       Understanding of forecast and replenishment theory, solid written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills 

·       Solid knowledge and practical use of Forecasting and Inventory Planning tools 

·       Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be detail oriented, and flexible to work on multiple projects simultaneously 

·       Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SAP preferred.
