About this role
Carrier Commercial has an opportunity in Charlotte, NC, for a high potential, results-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to provide sales operational support to the multiple B2B businesses.
The position requires flexibility as well as the ability to work with large amounts of data and draw directional conclusions from that data. Candidate must possess strong analytical skills and sound business judgment, specifically regarding sales and customer-facing processes and be curious to find improvement opportunities. The selected candidate must be comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization and able to develop positive relationships to gather information and influence decision-making
Key Responsibilities
Identify areas of improvement within sales processes/reporting, develop strategies, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, and increase team productivity.
Support Sales and Senior Management by gathering insights through data analysis and developing regular reporting including QBRs, sales forecasting, backlogs, team performance, incentive compensation, channel performance, etc.
Develop, standardize, and measure leading and lagging KPI’s to improve decision making and empower team coaching to support the sales teams.
Work with cross-functional teams and local business leaders on various projects to drive sales productivity.
Design and manage the annual sales target setting process for multiple business units.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis and support upon request.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, FP&A, operations excellence (process improvement), or marketing operations.
2+ years of experience creating reports & dashboards from large data sets and understanding gaps in data and what’s required to close those gaps.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mapping process workflows with business stakeholders and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Demonstrated ability to draw conclusions and make educated recommendations based of analytical work and data.
Experience managing work across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Experience with sales tech stack platforms including but not limited to CRM tools like Salesforce/SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Oracle, Hubspot and CPQ tools like PROS, SAP, Salesforce CPQ.
Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format.
VBA, Macros, Python, Power Query, DAX and other languages to support data analysis and automation.
Reporting & Dashboarding Tools including, Salesforce Lightning reports/dashboards, PowerBI or other business intelligence tools.
Experience supporting B2B sales leaders managing multiple sales regions and channels to drive business improvements.
Developed automation methodology to streamline processes and improved processes.
Proven Project Management and process improvement experience and/or certifications (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean six sigma belts).
HVAC industry knowledge.
