About This Role
NORESCO develops bespoke energy infrastructure and efficiency solutions to meet each customer’s individual financial, technical, operational, and sustainability objectives through a variety of project delivery methods and contract structures including Public-Private Partnerships (P3), Energy/Efficiency as a Service (EaaS) and Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC). In many cases these design-build projects are fully or partially funded through a combination of reduced operating costs and capital expenditures. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility, and identifies, develops, and gathers necessary resources to ensure project completion.
- Manages all aspects of a project: allocates resources, drives strategic planning, and assigns tasks to ensure targets are met.
- Conducts project meetings and prepares reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
- Sets priorities, allocates tasks and supervises project staff to meet project targets, budgets, and milestones.
- Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources, changing contractual specifications, and assisting resolution development.
- Acts as primary contact with the customer and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer's needs and meet demands within the contracted scope.
- Assists business development team with writing and presenting proposals for projects and may have moderate to heavy contact with middle and senior level executives of the client to ensure that clients receive accurate, timely, and clear information.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience in Construction Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with an ESCO company or a P-3 Integrator
- Ability to read structural, mechanical, electrical, control and life safety system plans
- 10+ years of experience in Federal Energy Savings Projects
- 10+ years of experience in operational efficiencies of buildings
- Familiar with startup and commissioning procedures of HVAC and direct digital control systems
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and direct digital control architecture
- Ability to read structural, mechanical, electrical, control and life safety system plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word and Excel
