Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to meet production daily goals while driving cost-effectiveness and ensuring work is done in a safer manner.
  • Adjust headcount to meet changes in demand.
  • Manages a team of supervisors to ensure all quality-related items are complete and documented.
  • Directs cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness.
  • Directs scheduling to meet production targets.
  • Sets the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.
  • Leads materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure the availability of materials and smooth operations.
  • Manages multiple cells' performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
  • Directs production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
  • Liaises with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in a leadership role with technical responsibilities in manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with minimum 8 years in operations management. 
  • Lean Manufacturing-Six Sigma-Kaizen-5S experience is highly desirable.
  • Candidate must have a working knowledge of ISO and operations management best practices.  
  • Demonstrates a balance of robust analytical, written, and verbal communications skill.
  • Must possess proven project management skills, process improvement skills, applied computer technology (MRP/DRP, etc.)
