This position is for an Assistant Customer Service Technician who is under immediate supervision. Assists with answering basic customer inquiries on product availability, maintenance, and the status of orders. Responsible for developing basic skills in the execution of existing procedures. Uses detailed instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works under immediate supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service.
  • Answer emails and phone calls from sales managers, outside sales reps and customers in regards to: product availability, pricing and the status of orders.
  • Research shipping errors, shortages and overage claims by customer. Submit documentation for approval and processing of credits and debits
  • Accurately enter Orders into JDE same day they are received
  • Research billing error and submit documentation as needed for approval and processing
  • Work with shipping to expedite orders as needed
  • Work with finance to release expedited orders as needed
  • Work with customers, outside sales reps and sales managers to resolve pricing issues with orders
  • Ability to identify areas of process improvement and work with immediate supervisor to approve changes and implement new processes

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of customer service support
  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using JDE, Lotus Notes, Salesforce
  • Extremely detail oriented
