About this role

With a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering Operations team. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in our Manufacturing Engineering Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead engineering initiatives, and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

This is an onsite position based out of Derry NH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and modify small cell or simple assembly lines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout
  • Design the sequence of larger and more complex operations and installations
  • Specify procedures for the fabrication of tools/equipment and other processes, i.e. disassembly/assembly and repairs, to ensure efficiency and optimize performance
  • Design and implement complex manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control to ensure compliance and effective production
  • Monitor and ensure mandatory modifications, programs, and bulletins are incorporated or complied with, as required by the customer and the applicable regulatory requirements, to ensure legal compliance and adherence to quality standards
  • Identify opportunities or implement changes, on a need basis, to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts to optimize productivity and ensure optimal use of resources
  • Audit manufacturability of existing products, and recommend modifications or adaptations to address quality, customer, product, or productivity constraints

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years plus experience in the electronics manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Strong background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
  • Experience with project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet project deadlines
