As part of the engineering team, you contribute to features that impact our customers daily. We need motivated engineers excited to work across software development, test automation, and infrastructure as we expand our product to meet customers' growing needs.
Primary responsibilities will be developing automation tests for our VRx™ video management system, which provides a next-generation video management experience featuring UHD playback, deep learning analytics capabilities, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize scripting languages for automation against APIs.
- Writing code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment.
- Designing, developing, and demoing as needed within a delivery team.
- Participate in peer reviews to both share and receive feedback.
- Working with Engineering Tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Perforce, Jira, Confluence, and Rally.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in a computer related field
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference is being given to the candidate from Rochester Institute of Technology. This co-op is a partnership between Rochester Institute of Technology and their career center.
- Relocation is not provided for RIT students
- You have a strong computer science background.
- You have a desire to continuously improve and grow as an engineer.
- Experience developing in one of the following languages: Python, C++, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Experience with development against APIs.
- Passion for automation.
- Highly motivated, fast learner who works independently and within a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
