About this role
Carrier Residential Services is seeking an experienced Distribution Channel Management professional, who can oversee and participate in various sales and customer relationship management processes of residential products. Take responsibility for representing the company's interests and building business relationships at clients and to enhance the distribution channel management performance. This is an individual contributor who can be based out of Indianapolis, Kansas City, Nashville, or Chicago. The Regional Sales Manager will travel 50% of the time in these above-mentioned areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sales of residential products, market growth and business development
- Develop and influence channel growth strategies with distributor customers
- Focus on increasing market share and improve customer relations
- Assist and facilitate pricing requests, ensure products are competitively priced in the market and in alignment with channel strategy
- Forecast distributor programs, sales and prepare budgets
- Help the team to deliver an efficient customer experience in a detailed manner
- Implementation of process improvement/operational agility initiatives
- Determine the customer’s needs and to drive best solutions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of sales, product management, or marketing experience
- Valid Driver’s license

- Master’s Degree
- HVAC industry and sales experience
- Passion for servicing customers
- English communication (written and verbal) skills across a wide audience
- Above-average follow-up and follow-through skills
- Ability to learn quickly and to apply and extrapolate this to other functional areas
