About this role
Seeking a Sr. Workday Technical Product Manager – Security to analyze, design, transform and implement activities globally. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Workday Security across all functional areas. The work involves close partnership with the HR Technology team members globally as well as stakeholders in the HR business COEs, Digital/IT, External Vendor organizations. Key objectives include delivery of best-in-class HR technology solutions that support business needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for overall security strategy, design, configuration, enhancements, and support
Troubleshoot and analyze Workday security issues with HR business which may require functional skills in Workday business process and reporting to identify and resolve issues
Partner with various HRT Leads and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, recommend the test, and deliver security-related configuration needed for new functionality and change requests.
Deep knowledge of Workday security configuration to recommend, streamline and simplify security roles and groups
Provide recommendations on security updates/enhancements to drive the simplification of security model
Lead discussions with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders as needed
Back up Security and Governance Lead as needed to respond to all audits and ensure compliance with Workday governance model.
Provide guidance, direction, and oversight to Security Configurator and other Security team resources
Document all security processes as needed, including any security changes and enhancements
Execute Workday Security role assignment audits, analyze results and address any issues
Create, configure, test, and maintain all types of Workday security groups
Update security groups: business process and domain security policies as needed
Assign role and user-based security groups to users
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelors’ Degree
5+ years of experience with Workday HCM Solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Workday Security Configuration and Administration, including experience with Workday Business Process/Reporting/HCM/Complex Security configuration
Minimum 5 years experience in a technical environment with a strong ability to configure Workday
HR/Security knowledge in a global workspace
Analytical and able to effectively apply logic to solve problems
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
Ability to take accountability and resolve issues independently
Ability to follow documented processes to ensure adherence for audit purposes
Experience with security and compliance audits
Experience as a team lead or supervisor is preferred.
Must be a motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently in a high volume fast-paced environment with limited supervision and direction
