About This Role

Our team is looking for an IoT Product Engineer that can innovate and deliver exceptional solutions to our customers.  As a member of the design development team, your daily activities will include the full life-cycle of design, development, modification, testing, debugging, and support for new and existing hardware and firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product team to refine requirements
  • Design and prototype electronic solutions
  • Perform schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Work with the firmware team for implementation
  • Determine test requirements needed for the testing team
  • Work closely with stakeholders and technical lead to see product through the entire development lifecycle
  • Communicate with other hardware engineers to ensure correct system integration
  • Facilitate prototype builds and general project implementation
  • Provide support to production and field issues
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering best practices
  • Interact with other departments to understand and break down business requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of IoT or M2M product development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other drafting tools
  • Experience with iterative development and agile methodologies

  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
  • Attend scheduled EH&S training program
  • Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans
  • Recommend improved EH&S practices
