About this role
The OPM will own their program from early project architecture, program launch, end of life with effective handover to the tactical accountable team when program delivery is complete, and all roles are adequately able to operate the business in a resilient sustaining manner.
This role requires close collaboration with Material planning, Logistics, Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, and other Operations teams to bring an end-to-end operational mindset to TOW assignments. The OPM will also own all Operational aspects of TOW including capex budgeting, BoM cost, factory readiness and weekly New Product Review meetings with Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Assesses, analyzes, consolidates, and communicates risk and status clearly and succinctly to management, calling out key issues and presenting options for resolution to the cross-functional executive team through TOW reviews and other executive forums.
- Establish and maintain relevant KPI's, appropriate scorecards, an effective escalation matrix, and an appropriate cadence of strategic and tactical business reviews in coordination with the broader Carrier S&OP and other governance cadences creating transparency, predictability, and accountability across the external supply organization.
- Use your technical expertise to drive execution to TOW with cross functional internal and external partners.
- Ensure the successful launch of products towards meeting its stated cost, quality, schedule, and availability goals.
- Lead ramp qualifications, material availability including CTB reporting.
- Drive Operations team to ensure security, materials, equipment, fixtures, staffing, training and documentation plans are in place at our partners.
- Work closely with cross functional internal and external partners to define Key Performance Indicators and TOW critical timeline requirements to enable successful execution.
- Drive Operations team for factory readiness with manufacturing partners to support NPI builds and MP (line layout, automation, capacity, capex, etc.).
- Liaison across multiple cross-functional teams to ensure product cost, manufacturability, reliability, product quality, safety and compliance, and go-to-market strategies are met.
- Work closely with Commodity Sourcing Team to ensure partner selection is being optimized to support product requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Operations, Manufacturing or Program Management role in consumer electronics or hardware engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in Operations, Outsourcing, Contract manufacturing and Supply Chain
- Cross-functional leadership experience
- Proven project management and teamwork experience
- Experience working with and managing external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Problem solving, analytical and communication experience.
