Job Description

NORESCO is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Coordinator. We are seeking an individual that has operations and maintenance (O&M) experience with energy/utility assets. Systems includes streetlights and associated load centers. This role reports to the Project Manager and will work closely with the Field Auditor.

About the role

This position manages day-to-day operating and maintenance task coordination with a focus on quality control and effective maintenance of streetlights and load centers. This individual will develop statistical reports. NORESCO’s Operations and Maintenance Group is responsible oversight and physical audits of the contracted maintenance of customer streetlighting assets.

As an Operations and Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing daily coordination of field inspection and working with in the CMMs. This position will report to the program manager and assist in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reporting. Job duties include preparing statistical information, researching accounting data, and producing reports based on your research.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all NORESCO and customer safety standards. Promotes safety awareness on work sites.
  • Overall responsibility for performance reporting of maintenance conducted on customer’s mission-critical assets.
  • Performs a variety of clerical, data research, and information analysis tasks.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute inspection tasks.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and contract obligations are performed as prescribed.  
  • Manages assigned work to meet customer expectations and contract specifications. 
  • Completes all job required documentation on time, including timesheets, expense reports, posting of work orders, on-site documentation, and project status reports in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to support other projects as needed.
  • Work with NORESCO’s measurement and verification team to evaluate energy conservation measures (EMC) through equipment or system modeling and analysis.
  • Document and track all maintenance activities in CMMs and through accurate reporting.
  • Interface with customers, address any concerns and maintain and improve customer relations.
  • Prepare inspection documents and monthly/quarterly project status reports that are clear and concise.
  • Prepare work scopes for maintenance audits.
  • Maintain and update computer project folders and files in a neat and orderly fashion.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • 1+ year of experience with street lighting, load centers, and electrical installations.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and other Microsoft products as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/Certification from a recognized college or university in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Must possess excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills are required.
  • Candidates must possess proficient oral and written communication/presentation skills to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds.
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers; establishes and maintains effective relationships and gains the trust and respect of clients.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
