About this Role
The Senior Engineering Manager, Product Development will be a technical expert and partner with customers and internal teams to convert customer challenges and opportunities into integrated system solutions. This role will be critical to create and deliver the end product.
Key Responsibilities
Sales support
Adaptation of existing selection tools or development new for North America
Representation in trade organizations
Presenting at trade meetings
Support to “sales engineers”
Develop and sustain IOM’s and necessary instructions
BSG, Advantec, Carrier in general, necessary communication and interaction.
Technical
Linking sales expectation to manufacturing, identifying NA specific needs and develop/adapt products to match
Controls integration (BacNet)
Manage US component suppliers technically, support procurement.
Support after sales
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Engineering
10+ years of experience in mechanical , thermodynamic or controls engineering
Ability to travel 30%
Preferred Qualifications
Solution oriented
Experience in field of application of refrigeration systems Design and Installation
Experience in UL standards and certifications for refrigeration equipment
Ability to communicate at all levels
Strong project management capabilities
