About this role

This position is for a Customer Service technician who is under direct supervision. Responsible for resolving basic customers' service or billing complaints and obtaining customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased. Applies basic skills in the execution of existing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • PC installation and configuration of current Windows desktop and server OS, DB applications, and the customization of desktop and server hardware.
  • Fulfill software license requests in support of Lenel order fulfillment
    Respond to customer service inquires in a timely manner (Phone & Email)
  • Maintain customer support database
  • Accurately process SUSP purchase orders and fulfill orders in the required timeframe.
  • Maintain accurate customer contract information and license records.
  • Fulfill customer orders in support of the Business/Sales.
  • Maintain relationships with customers.
  • Coordinate with Order entry and Support order teams for account and license accuracy.
  • Works under direct supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service.
  • Obtains customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased.
  • Answering basic customer inquires on product availability, maintenance, and the status of orders.
  • Resolves basic customers' service or billing complaints.
  • Keeps records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • 2+ years in a customer service role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Effective Communication: Ability to correspond effectively with a variety of functional teams and strong interpersonal skills for supporting and advising sales, operations, and financial teams on proper systems and process.
  • 1-3 years of operations, financial, services experience preferred.
  • Able to adapt quickly to emerging technologies and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
