About this role
In this role you will conduct moderately complex tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems. Undertakes multidisciplinary research, and works on system capabilities analysis to determine end user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide configuration and analysis support for VC module, fully understanding the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution, including classes, characteristics, tables, dependencies, profiles, and super BOMs/Routings
- Ability to configure and code complex configurable materials with full cross functional integration. Providing leadership in robust testing and documentation
- Design product model architecture to ensure best balance of maintainability, scalability, and system performance
- Working knowledge of integration points between various business processes or modules including product costing, material management, procurement and pricing
- Experience with large scale implementations that include designing cross team solutions
- Experience with manufacturing product releases and BOM management including ECN’s
- Facilitate business process and master data redesign ensuring alignment with SAP best practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with business customers and maintain relationships across commercial products groups
- Ability to support cross-team collaboration to ensure your focus area integrates with the overall solution
- Gather, validate, and document VC product model specifications from product experts at business units. Efforts include interviewing experts and facilitating requirements workshops
- Assist team members and customers with problem solving related to software application performance and usage; support on an as-needed basis (24x7) assigned applications and/or participate (through expertise) on problems outside specific assignment to ensure business operations are not interrupted or delayed

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree
- 5+ years of software experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing and releasing new KMAT configurators
- Highly-motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively lead efforts including delivery of larger complex projects
- Proven ability to influence change
- Ability to model complex systems—break down intricate product data into comprehensive yet basic structure
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Possibly up to 10% travel
