About This Role

The Sales Operations Analyst will provide guidance and input to junior staff, while monitoring marketing and sales trends, conducting market research studies, and keeping abreast of market segment trends and market conditions independently. This role is also responsible for ensuring data gathering/analysis processes are updated and provides recommendations to enhance Market Analysis effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators of various sales programs and initiatives
  • Identify actionable metrics about product, portfolio and segment mix and opportunities to leverage change
  • Correlate and summarize key performance metrics from disparate sources into readily consumable formats
  • Develop presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities, achievements and opportunities for improvement
  • Implement and manage reports and dashboards ensuring sales team members have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Work with internal IT teams to identify system enhancements and opportunities to provide data updates more easily
  • The Sales Operations Specialist will gather, analyze, and summarize key data points in order to empower the sales team with information to help drive effective and efficient sales growth.
  • The role will also develop and manage a performance review cadence with key customers to insure objective and growth alignment.
  • A portion of this role will also be interfacing with internal IT teams to help drive system enhancements and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 + years’ experience in business analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years’ experience with PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cross functional work experience and evidence of a thorough working knowledge of the following: Excel, PowerBI, Salesforce, Powerpoint, and SAP
  • Experience working in a hybrid corporate work environment
  • Ability to analyze disparate information and draw conclusions/recommendations
  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks and implement progressive, sustainable solutions.
  • Knowledge of change management best practices and comfortable conducting training courses both virtually and in-person
  • Passion for servicing customers.  Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
