We are seeking a self-motivated Account Order Manager to join our Syracuse, NY team. You will be the account representative for both direct and indirect commercial Strategic Account customers and provide front-line customer support from pre-order quotation through delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Strategic Account customers by serving as the primary point of contact.

  • Lead customer account management, including equipment ordering, inventory management, and shipment coordination.

  • Responsible for Carrier and vendor equipment scheduling and order management.

  • Partner with sales organization to facilitate order fulfillment by reviewing orders, customer documentation, and job-site follow-up.

  • Forecast and track key account metrics through our sales tracking process.

  • Manage, update and troubleshoot customer system requirements.

  • Provide an interface with the finance department by managing collections and resolving payment disputes.

  • Prepare order reports, invoices, and warranty registration.

  • File freight claims for direct sale customers.

  • Receive customer purchase orders, match to quotes, and verify terms and conditions.

  • New customer set-up.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of customer facing experience in an office setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.

  • Salesforce experience.

  • SAP order entry experience.

  • Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication and sense of ownership.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with both internal and external contacts.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Follow-up throughout order lifecycle.
