About this role

The purpose of this role is to develop and deploy the Carrier Excellence Academy curricula into Carrier’s infrastructure, resulting in a seamless technical experience for our employees with training, practice, and recognition.

The training program depends on several systems (currently Workday, CLP, and CxCP). The person in this role needs to understand the principles of instructional design, as well as technical aspects of information flows between systems (API, MFT), and how actions taken in one system can impact the way the curricula perform in others.

Using that knowledge, and in partnership with the Cx Academy Manager, the person in this role will help to plan, execute, and market ongoing changes to the Carrier Excellence Academy curricula within Carrier’s infrastructure, as well as work with Program Manager to create and deliver program communications to coordinate with Business Units & Functions on curricula deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand technical aspects of systems on which Carrier Excellence Academy curricula depend (Workday, CLP, CxCP), including KPI measurement and tracking of effectiveness

  • Partner with the Digital Technology group to understand and improve Carrier Excellence Academy curricula deployment into Carrier’s infrastructure

  • Coordinate with BUs & Functions on curricula deployment and program communications including change management

  • Leverage instructional design best practices to guide the development of Carrier Excellence Academy curricula

  • Manage systems related projects (e.g. Cx Academy technical and vendor roadmap, CLP move to Workday Learning (2H2024))

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve recurring systems issues

  • Manage & support Certified Trainers & TTTs network

  • Manage vendors including the use of Ariba P2P

  • Work with others to develop program processes, standard work & job aides in support of Cx Academy policies & procedures. Owns ongoing process health

  • Create and maintain standards and process documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 7+ years educational delivery platforms and/or lean/continuous improvement experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of digital systems

  • Working knowledge and experience with complex infrastructure

  • Instructional Design experience

  • Working knowledge of change management

  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis and Process Management.

  • Good project management skills.

  • Current knowledge of instructional design, training, and development best practices as well as adult learning principles, including KPI measurement and tracking of effectiveness

  • A conceptual thinker with the professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements

  • The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate, and achieve results is critical

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight
