About this position:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of Inventory Control, planning, training, employee performance and evaluations and problem solving in the warehouse. In this position you will supervise union / and non-union employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and Execute Annual Physical Inventory
- Monthly E&O recommendations to Finance
- Distribution Center (DC) WMS storage logic planning/maintenance
- Manage 3rd party testing unit holds/shipments
- Evaluate cycle count effectiveness and revise count processes
- Resolve Inter Modal issues from clerical research
- Employee coaching/development
- Lead Six Sigma and improvements
- Communicate transactional/behavioral issues with DC supervisors/managers.
- Any other daily needs as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year experience in inventory management.
- 1+ year experience with continuous improvement process (such as lean / six sigma).
- 1+ year experience in people supervisory.
Preferred Qualifications (assets)
- Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
- Experience with ERP systems, WMS, and Ms-Suite office is highly desired.
- Meticulous and attention to details.
