About the Role

The Demand Planning Lead will be responsible for transforming North America HVAC aftermarket demand forecasting.  You will collaborate with senior management and other functional leads to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals. You will partner with stakeholders across functional teams to capture all inputs to the consensus demand plan to ensure adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implement

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance advanced statistical models that are based on historical consumption

  • Integrate data inputs from customers to elevate accuracy in the monthly consensus forecast

  • Utilize install base analytics from Carrier equipment to proactively identify shifts in customer requirements for service parts and accessories

  • Liaison with our planning software vendor to modify processes and configure demand planning tools

  • Prepare all demand data and metrics for cross-functional weekly S&OE sessions

  • Support monthly demand S&OP with analysis and data insights

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning or SKU demand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in data-oriented discipline

  • Strong working knowledge of S&OE and/or S&OP with implementation experience

  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in aftermarket demand planning

  • Strong forecasting and data capabilities

  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel and database software

  • Experience improving demand and planning applications
