KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily machine monitoring and calibration

  • Fixture maintenance, modification and fabrication

Pipe Cutting:

  • Operate band saws to cut pipes to specified lengths and dimensions, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

  • Maintain the band saw and related equipment, performing routine inspections and maintenance as required.

Delivery and Inventory Management:

  • Safely transport finished products and materials to designated areas within the facility.

  • Assist in managing inventory levels by tracking materials used and notifying supervisors of any shortages.

Record Keeping:

  • Accurately document work performed, including production quantities, machine settings, and any issues encountered during operations.

  • Maintain logs and reports to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and ensure quality standards are met.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, loud noise, and varying temperatures

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, including programming, manual machinery operation, and/or CAD

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for the majority of the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or certification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field Industrial Maintenance experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
