About this role:
This role will drive individual Voice of Customer improvement projects identified by key customers related to Residential HVAC equipment. This will be done by leading cross-functional root cause analysis along with identifying, developing, and implementing solutions to the identified projects.

- Meet with key customers to determine the top issues to be resolved and develop a methodology to replicate their concern
- Lead root cause analysis investigation on system performance issues
- Collaborate with Engineering and technical employees to develop test and validation processes for identified product improvements
- Manage project progress through investigation, testing and implementation phases
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 5+ yrs experience in Project Management and lab environment
- 2+ years of experience with diagnosing and root cause analysis of system performance concerns
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal ENGINEER is a self-motivated, problem-solver, passionate and involved in the Voice of Customer improvement projects. These projects will focus on unique and varied high passion customer requests that will incorporate detailed root cause analysis, solution identification, experimentation, validation and implementation. The ENGINEER will have access to dedicated lab space to build and execute novel test plans, access to development engineering testing resources and 3rd party testing facilities. Implemented solutions see immediate impact on customer satisfaction.
- Masters degree in Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in Project Management and lab environment
- Strong data analysis and root cause analysis skills
- Strong communication skills – both in-person and electronic
- Intermediate Project Management Skills
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of residential HVAC equipment and their parts
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities
- Familiarity with and ability to use data systems and databases
- Mechanical Aptitude – use of basic hand tools in a lab environment
- Ability to comprehend and comply with EH&S practices & policies and ethics practices
- Proven capacity to self-direct/motivate with a vision toward future goals
- Ability to work a first-shift schedule, M-F, 40 hours per week
