About This Role 

At Kidde Global Solutions we are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Document Management Specialist. This role can be located onsite at our location in Bradenton, FL.

In this role you will perform basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. Collaborates with higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results. May assist in orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.

 

 Key Responsibilities 

·       Documents compliance by maintaining database/spreadsheet of required Agency documentation.

·       Review Agency files for inconsistencies in current Revisions of documentation that includes assembly drawings, Bill of Materials, Installation Manuals, Product Labels and descriptions.

·       Complete all steps of an Agency paperwork Project

·       Prepares Agency submittals by collecting, comparing, and summarizing information.

·       Verify that all documentation has been updated correctly for Agency Projects once they are completed

·       Provides administrative support by completing paperwork projects for compliance engineers.

·       Assist in maintaining current and archive paper filing system of Agency Procedure Files and product documentation updates for those Files

·       Initiating engineering change notices to release internal Product updates to Manufacturing.

·       Update existing or create new Label drawings per Product Management changes or Agency requirements

·       Attend weekly department meetings for Project status updates

·       Works under moderate supervision to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks

·       Performs basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects

 

Basic Qualifications

·       High School Diploma or GED

·       2+ years of documentation control experience

 

Preferred Qualifications 

·       Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions. 

·       Attention to detail

·       Excellent organizational ability

·       Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

·       Basic knowledge of Internet use and email

·       Working independently with little supervision

·       Previous experience in an Engineering environment

·       Introductory level AutoCAD experience

Compensation and Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $56,440 to $66,400 per year. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
