About this role
Carrier Commercial HVAC Service in Kanata is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the success of our field service and repair operations by managing job execution, billing, and customer support activities.
The Service Operations Lead has no direct reports and need to work onsite role in Kanata ON.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactive monitor, pursue and assist with the selling of field service and repair opportunities to ensure pull through revenue goals are met
- Assist leadership in driving on time, within budget completion of service jobs
- Manage time charged to jobs, i.e., timesheet approvals and Procard transactions (billable vs non-billable)
- Oversee daily execution of Time & Materials (T&M), fixed prices, service contracts & projects
- Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and the resolution of customer billing disputes
- Procure parts & materials for scheduled maintenance, repairs and emergency service calls
- Manage warranty and startup jobs
- Book the new jobs and set up the billing plans
- Daily review of open orders to ensure timely completion of jobs
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of project, service contract, T&M and fixed price jobs
Basic Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma
- 2+ years of HVAC Services, Equipment Services or Construction Services industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management
- Experience in service operations, job costing, or project coordination
- Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAP
- Organizational and communication skills
- Multitask and work cross-functionally with service, finance, and sales teams
