Automated Logic designs, manufactures, installs, and services hardware and software for Building Automation Systems (BAS). Our BAS, called WebCTRL®, provides web-based control and energy management capability for owners and operators of commercial building HVAC and lighting systems. Automated Logic systems are used in commercial office buildings, health care institutions, educational facilities, critical mission facilities, government buildings, retail facilities, hospitality and entertainment facilities and industrial plants. We are seeking a self-starter to work effectively across the organization to assist in driving the overall productivity and effectiveness of our sales operations and who can help us continually improve and enhance our CRM Platform (Salesforce) by gathering requirements and designing and implementing best practice solutions. The position will report directly to the Director of Commercial Operations.
General Responsibilities
Work with and support cross functional teams to maximize the effectiveness of the sales organization.
Streamline and optimize sales processes from leads to orders.
Develop self-serve reports, dashboards and analytical tools as well as business and sales reporting standards.
Provide analysis of sales-related cost and inefficiencies associated with such things as order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity, and goal attainment.
Provide a variety of ad-hoc support for business management, including sales reports, data modelling, presentations, and dashboarding.
Participate in the strategic analysis of sales operations, including making recommendations on improvements to sales processes, sales productivity, and revenue initiatives.
Proactively data mine and provide analysis on sales activities, lead management, pipelines, forecast accuracy, etc. to provide Sales Management with insightful and actionable information.
Assist in market analytics, territory and sales force sizing exercises, including the aggregation of data from a variety of disparate sources and systems into a database and models for data-driven decision making.
CRM (Salesforce) Administration Responsibilities
Optimize platform to ensure that it is effectively utilized to meet business needs. Perform configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
User Management: Create and maintain user accounts, roles, profiles, and security settings.
System Configuration: Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and other system settings.
Data Management: Manage data import/export, data validation, and data quality initiatives.
Automation: Develop and maintain workflows, approval processes, and other automated tasks.
Reporting and Analytics: Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to track key performance indicators.
Support and Training: Provide technical support, training, and documentation to end-users.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Salesforce platform.
Data Security: Implement and maintain Salesforce sharing rules, security policies, and other measures to protect data.
System Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize the platform.
Integration: Configure and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
Collaboration: Work with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure effective platform usage.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales operations, or marketing.
5+ years of Salesforce product knowledge and technical understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, or administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Data/Analytics.
Salesforce Administrator certification and /or working experience is desirable.
B2B go-to-market experience preferably within building technologies or related industry as well as multi-channel experience.
Highly skilled in analysis and process improvement.
Advanced in Microsoft Excel with proficiency in business intelligence solutions such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytical Cloud.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
Experience in change management.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
