About This Role:
As a Tax Administrative Assistant, you'll be a key support member for our tax organization. Your main responsibilities will include managing financial tasks like processing vendor payments and budget tracking, as well as logistical duties such as scheduling meetings and coordinating leadership conferences. You'll also be responsible for preparing presentations and consolidating reports using your advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. This role requires a professional who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills and ability to work independently will be crucial as you interact with all levels of the organization and external partners.
Role Responsibilities:
Process payments to vendors and assist with departmental budget tracking
Maintain schedules for meetings and conferences adapting as necessary to meet priorities
Consolidate reports and materials for meetings
Manage logistical arrangements for leadership meetings to ensure a seamless execution
Interface with all levels of the tax organization and with external suppliers in a professional and effective manner
Other administrative support and special projects
Assist with preparing power point presentations for team meetings
Support the filing of various tax return forms via mail and/or electronic submissions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of administrative experience at a senior level in a large, corporate environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Flexible and adaptable in dealing with changing priorities and tasks
Experience coordinating company or customer events with senior level customers
Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the organization including senior leadership
Ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail is a must
Able to multi-task on a variety of assignments
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
