About This Role

Strategically guide and govern the tools and platforms that power Carrier’s AI and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with business units to understand use cases and recommend appropriate tools and solutions for analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Architecture & Integration
    • Define standardized frameworks for tool selection, conduct gap analyses, and drive integration of analytics into business processes.
  • Product Ownership
    • Develop and maintain roadmaps for data and analytics products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with Carrier’s strategic goals.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Liaise between technical and business teams, lead internal governance forums, and promote best practices across data science, engineering, and BI teams.

  

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematical Statistics, and/or Business Analytics
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, AI platforms, or data governance, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive business impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematical Statistics, and/or Business Analytics
  • Strong command of data engineering tools (SQL, Python), AI/ML platforms, and metadata/catalog solutions like Collibra or Informatica.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise functions such as Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, governance leadership, and influencing decision-making across technical and non-technical teams
