About the role:
Own and scale Carrier’s aftermarket parts business through an integrated operating model that combines IPMT leadership (growth, customer availability, supply continuity) with PMO/transformation governance to deliver world‑class parts performance and profitable growth. CSA parts business is expected to be $700M 2025 FY LE and a critical enabler to our aftermarket double-digit growth agenda. This position is a key component to drive the necessary changes to deploy our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Parts Integrated Program/Project Management Team (IPMT) across Product/Category, SIOP, Supply Chain/Operations (incl. DCs/3PL), Digital & Analytics, Commercial, and Customer Support.
- Head the Parts Transformation PMO, unifying portfolio, governance and stage‑gate execution (e.g., Collaborative Forecasting, Supplier Control Tower, distributor data integrations, eCommerce enablement).
- Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Acts as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Finance teams. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of actions and alignment on priorities.
- Project Leadership & Strategic Planning: Leads initiatives like warehouse optimization, inventory rebalancing, and distributor engagement strategies. Tracks deliverables and progress across multiple workstreams. Supports strategic decision-making by analyzing financial impacts, scheduling constraints, and operational risks.
Business leadership & growth
- Define and execute the aftermarket parts growth strategy and operating pillars; drive entitlement capture, channel pull‑through and margin expansion.
- Translate strategy into an IPMT roadmap with clear owners, quarterly outcomes and an agile improvement cadence.
IPMT ownership (run the business)
- Chair weekly IPMT/S&OE and monthly business reviews for parts; ensure fast cross‑functional decision‑making and escalations.
- Orchestrate SIOP (forecast accuracy, supply alignment, inventory & service levels) and supplier performance for critical part families.
PMO & transformation (change the business)
- Own the parts transformation portfolio; standardize stage‑gate governance (SG0–SG3), RAID and benefit tracking.
- Establish clear RACI and project hygiene; consolidate current PMO workstreams under one governance framework.
Customer & channel outcomes
- Deliver world‑class availability and on‑time delivery (CPSD baseline, published lead‑times); reduce backorders and stock‑outs.
- Stand up proactive Parts S&OE routines (demand vs forecast, supplier OTD, recovery actions).
Digital, data & analytics
- Scale statistical forecasting fed by distributor movement/inventory and Carrier order history; expand EDI/API ingestion.
- Partner with Digital on order‑entry automation and related “Seamless” tracks impacting parts flow and CX.
Data Coordination & Communication
- Aggregates and disseminates performance metrics from the IPMT Control Tower.
- Prepares and shares slide decks and reports for executive reviews and operational workshops.
- Ensures alignment across teams by forwarding key updates and creating templates for structured feedback.
Meeting Facilitation & Cadence Management
- Hosts and coordinates multiple recurring meetings and cadence for business operations.
- Parts Financial Actions calls and RC Daily Standups focused on business operations and risk/opportunity alignment.
- Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Monthly Orders Cadence meetings to align Sales, SIOP, and Product Management teams. Special project meetings such as WH Optimization and CSA MOR planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 12+ years of experience leading large-scale programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience leading aftermarket parts / distribution / supply chain in industrial/HVAC; track record of business impact.
- Demonstrated IPMT/IPT leadership across functions with measurable results.
- Expert PMO / transformation skills (portfolio governance, stage‑gate, RACI, value realization).
- Strong SIOP and inventory acumen (turns, DOH, obsolescence, service levels).
- Digital fluency: SAP S/4HANA, forecasting platforms, distributor data pipelines, KPI dashboards.
