About This Role
The person in this role will be part of the development team that supports initiatives for all carrier entities, Commercial Excellence, Commercial Operations and Digital Commerce business units, inclusive of customer service, sales, marketing, B2B commerce, EDI, logistics and distribution. This role reports to the Head of Integration at Carrier.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on design, development, deployment, documentation and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premise using Boomi AtomSphere platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration and Enterprise web services APIs) aligned with best practices and following pre-established standards
- Collaborate with various cross functional teams to define and determine integration requirements in the areas including, but not limited to Customer Support, Logistics, Digital Commerce, Marketing
- Work closely with other teams, such as but not limited to, Applications Development teams, DBA’s, Automation Engineers, Analytics, and downstream/upstream solutions delivery teams in providing technical assistance and advice and/or in resolving business issues
- Managing, Monitoring, Sustaining, Troubleshooting and supporting existing Integrations, Boomi AtomSphere platform and peripheral systems
- Build Service Oriented and discoverable Web services and APIs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience providing end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high-tech services
- 5+ years of experience working with the Boomi Platform or with other integration platforms, e.g. Mulesoft or Tibco
- 5+ years of experience working with backend frameworks like node.js , TypeScript or python
- 5+ years of experience working on building integrations using AWS services such as AWS Glue , AWS S3 or Spark
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of EDI Documents and X12 EDI Standards
- Understanding of the different integration patterns
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and APIs.
- Strong Relational Database background and SQL Skills
- Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON, and flat file documents using Javascript and/or Java
- Working knowledge of API design and development on the Cloud as well as on-premise environments
- Working knowledge of API security certification, authentication, authorization, IP security setup, and end point configuration
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills within distributed project teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
- Experience in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills in large scale enterprise, matrix organization
- Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of customer-facing applications – such as eCommerce, custom portals (api first), CPQ, Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Test Automation and CICD platforms
- Experience with configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications
