Applications Engineer- DDC

Position Summary  

The Application Engineer produces the documentation and software required to install and operate Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems. This role is a technical linchpin, supporting Field and Project Management teams to ensure the successful completion of construction projects through precise programming and system design.  

This role is onsite in Pasadena, TX  

Key Responsibilities  

• Design & Submittals: Develop comprehensive submittals using Carrier/ALC tools to define system architecture.  

• Software Development: Program and configure software to control installed DDC Systems using Carrier/ALC tools (e.g., Eikon, Snap).  

• Graphic Production: Create intuitive system graphics using Carrier/ALC tools for end-user operation. 

• Project Support: Provide technical expertise to Field and Project Management teams throughout the construction lifecycle.  

• Optimization: Ensure all DDC systems meet design specifications and operating requirements.  

Required Qualifications 

• University Degree in an Engineering field .  

• 2+ years Hands-on experience with Eikon/Snap or similar style logic-based programming tools. 

• 2+ years of Control systems, components, and end devices. 

Preferred Experience  

• Solid foundation in mechanical and electrical systems.
