The Connected Portal (CP) provides web-based experiences used for operational workflows, dealer-facing processes, and platform visibility. This role will focus on frontend-heavy delivery while also building familiarity with backend integrations, testing, and cloud-connected application workflows.

The engineer in this role will contribute to feature implementation, bug fixing, testing, and release-readiness work under the guidance of more experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain web application features using React and TypeScript.

  • Contribute to responsive, intuitive user experiences for portal and workflow-driven use cases.

  • Integrate frontend features with backend APIs, identity flows, and platform services.

  • Help investigate issues, reproduce bugs, validate fixes, and improve product quality.

  • Participate in testing, code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and team engineering practices.

  • Work closely with product, QA, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Learn and apply best practices for secure API use, maintainable UI design, and modern web development.

  • Support issue investigation and team collaboration during U.S. business hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Hard Science (Physical, Life, or Applied Science).

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience, including 1+ years building and shipping production Android and iOS mobile applications.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with React Native and TypeScript.

  • 1+ years of experience integrating Android and iOS mobile applications with GraphQL or REST APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with React, modern frontend development, or web application project work.

  • Understanding of basic API integration concepts for web applications.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-moving engineering environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

  • Exposure to React and TypeScript in production, internship, or project settings.

  • Exposure to Node.js, backend integration patterns, or full-stack application development.

  • Familiarity with testing tools, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD concepts.

  • Interest in portal, workflow, B2B, or operational web applications.

  • Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, or responsive UI development.

  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Kiro, or similar tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.

  • Exposure to authentication and role-based application behavior.

  • This role will work EST (8am-5pm)
