About the role
Responsible for defining the vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of products, systems, or services—including new products and features—to solve customer problems and drive business growth. Establishes the product vision, gathers customer, market, and competitive insights, and prioritizes features and specifications. Identifies key customer pain points and articulates the business value of the product. Reviews current offerings to recommend enhancements to features and functionality. Owns product–market fit, value delivery, and performance across the lifecycle. Conducts ongoing competitor assessments and benchmarks industry offerings to ensure product differentiation, market relevance, and competitive advantage. Collaborates with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to launch and continuously improve products. Acts as the voice of the customer, ensuring that offerings meet market needs and align with business objectives. Owns program financial goal setting, budgeting for all product investments, and product profitability. Sits at the intersection of customer needs, technical feasibility, and business viability. Provide Commercial Applied Product Managers with actionable intelligence on product lines to increase sales and margins.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop processes to analyze market trends
- Provide in-depth analysis of markets and sales by product line from a wide variety of information sources.
- Develop dashboards to easily communicate complex data to management
- Drive discussions with product and sales management to generate selling strategies.
- Increase segment share growth, sales and profitability
- Be recognized within the organization as a thought leader in area of expertise
- Influence on business decisions made by executive leadership
- Communicates with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization; conducts briefings with senior leaders in and outside of job function
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 + years of experience analyzing marketing, sales, and market performance data to develop dashboards, identify growth opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and strategic business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or Computer Science
- Data analytics experience in B2B Sales.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
