About This Role

The Carrier finance department has an opening for a Logistics and Indirect Supply Chain Finance Leader role within the Supply Chain Finance group. This position will require interaction with finance contacts in all Carrier segment and business units, World Headquarters FP&A teams, Carrier global operations team and the digital technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive productivity in a $3 billion global spend across logistics and indirect sourcing.

• Partner with Segment and Business Units teams to ensure logistics and indirect  accountability and associated consolidation and global reporting process built and owned.

• Lead close process and post close reporting acting as a key partner to the finance and operating teams.

• Engage in analysis and reporting of variances to plan, forecast, and prior year; propose and communicate potential changes in strategy or resource allocations/spend that are required based upon current trends.  Specifically, partner with CFO, directors and Supply Chain leaders to understand and drive opportunities for growth and managing cost.

• Support finance and operational leadership in monthly operating mechanisms by driving consistent data and processes.  Specifically, lead all planning and forecast cycles, and help drive agenda and content for operating review for Carrier Supply Chain leadership.

• Support the Senior Director Supply Chain Finance leader, Logistics, and Indirect leader with ad hoc analytics and requests.

• Drive standardization and process improvement across all aspects of planning and reporting, including sharing best practices.

• Partner with the FP&A team on preparation and presentation to senior leadership including Carrier CFO and other senior executives.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree

• 8+ years’ experience in Finance and FP&A

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in setting up finance process in a dynamic environment

• Experience in global supply chain and global process simplification and automation

• Proven execution of large scale and complex global robotic process automation (RPA)

• Financial Management system experience (HFM)

• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)

• Demonstrated strong analytical, process mindset, problem solving, and data acumen

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, function, segments and business units.

• Attention to accuracy and execution is a must

• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

• Excellent time management and project management skills
