The Kidde Business Unit of Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a talented, motivated, and energized Commercial Finance leader that has experience in driving business performance via business partnering within a large-scale commercial organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, Residential Fire, and directly supporting the Americas Sales and Marketing organizations, this position will require an experienced, self-motivated person, responsible for leading critical financial activities such as Revenue forecasting and analytics, product and customer profitability analyses, pricing and promotion strategy implementation, and general business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership of revenue and margin forecasting, budgeting, and reporting with a focus on process improvement and automation.
Provide for the timely review and communication of monthly / quarterly financial performance reports and commentary of high value business areas including transparency of risks and opportunities
Key member of cross functional margin expansion team. Support reporting and analytics to achieve overall brand profitability growth targets.
Review and approve pricing and promotional strategies. Monitor through third-party tools, analysis, and reporting.
Collaborates with other Pricing, Promotions, and Credit teams to create synergies between teams, share a cohesive vision, and foster an environment of communication and collaboration.
Perform daily, weekly, or monthly volume analyses, to support achieving financial commitments.
Support the development of periodic management presentations and supporting schedules including business reviews, strategic plans, and other leadership presentations and annual plans as needed.
Provides visibility to order intake performance including by customer, vertical, actual vs. budget/forecast.
Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed on various projects.
Must possess strong leadership, analytical skills and sound business judgment and be comfortable working with senior management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
5+ years of experience in FP&A roles in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, CPA/CMA
Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of HFM, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in Power-BI a plus
Strong financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions
Detail oriented with attention to quality / accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, concurrently handling multiple projects
Self-direction and organization skills critical to achieve month-end reporting deadlines
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Experience in Consumer Package Goods
