Key Responsibilities

Enterprise NPI Portfolio Leadership

  • Own and continuously improve stage-gate discipline (P0–P4, SOP readiness) and program management best practices

  • Lead structured executive review cadence (weekly, monthly, and milestone reviews), ensuring transparency and accountability

  • Institutionalize data-driven decision-making frameworks tied to program performance (cost, OTD, readiness, risk)

Cross-Functional & Business Integration

  • Influence product definition, design decisions, and sourcing strategies to optimize cost, manufacturability, and Procurement outcomes

  • Drive alignment across different functional stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of NPI priorities and strategies

Procurement Strategy & Execution Influence

  • Ensure NPI programs are aligned to global Procurement strategies, including supplier selection, dual sourcing, capacity planning, and localization

  • Drive execution of should-costing, cost optimization, and productivity initiatives embedded in NPI programs

  • Provide leadership oversight on supplier readiness, qualification, and program risk mitigation

People Leadership & Organizational Capability

  • Lead and develop a team of PMO leaders, program managers, and Procurement program resources

  • Coach leaders and develop succession pipelines aligned to Carrier leadership expectations

Executive Influence & Decision Support

  • Drive alignment on key business trade-offs (cost vs. timing vs. scope)

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to BU leadership on NPI performance and capability development

Scope & Impact

  • Direct ownership of program execution outcomes tied to cost, dual qualification, dual sourcing, and productivity targets

  • Multi-site scope with influence across engineering, sourcing, operations, and supplier networks

  • Significant impact on business growth, cost competitiveness, and Procurement performance

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience in Project or Program Management in a leadership capacity in Procurement, Manufacturing, or Engineering environments
