About this role:
The Change Management leader is responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies that maximize user adoption and usage and minimize resistance on highly visible projects that are aligned with business transformation objectives.
This role supports strategic change initiatives by applying thought leadership and change management concepts to create executable plans that drive alignment, adoption, proficiency, and ultimate utilization and business objectives across Commercial HVAC. This role will also be responsible for driving awareness, providing training, and implementing effective Change Management as a practice.
The ideal candidate will effectively drive positive change throughout Commercial HVAC, lead execution and integration of programs, and generate process improvement and optimization opportunities as it relates to key strategic projects.
This role reports directly to the Executive Director, Commercial HVAC Business Transformation, and partners with global business and functional leaders to assess and diagnose change impact on the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the implementation of the new governance model with agile and iterative approach, collaborating with leaders across the regions and businesses and for realization of business case objectives associated with transformation projects.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on change management activities.
- Develops, modifies, oversees, and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing change management opportunities and plans.
- Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, build a cross-business network, collaborate across regions, businesses, and functions.
- Create change management and change implementation plans with tactical steps that support the user experience and adoption of changes; provides tactical steps to deliver successful change management results, inclusive of stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, user readiness for change and adoption of changes.
- Aligns Change Management and Change implementation practices and methods to existing process and ways of doing business.
- Supports project managers and leaders with the design, development and delivery of change management and communication tools and templates
- Recommends appropriate tactical plans to support project success by influencing end user adoption.
- Design and deliver Change Management workshops and trainings.
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand audiences and customize Change Management material for specific business requirements and situations.
- Assesses the effectiveness of change management tools and resources and provides recommendations on new resources that support change management.
- Strong emphasis on implementing change and realizing expected value from transformation projects and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 + years of working experience in change management
- 7 + years of experience in leading multiple, complex change programs required
- 7 + years of experience in project management fundamentals; experience leading projects at the enterprise level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of common change management methodologies, certification in Prosci® preferred
- Working knowledge of ADKAR Change Management Model preferred
- Must be a team player and problem solver; able to shift priorities as business needs change
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
