About this role:
The Materials Engineer designs and optimizes material flows, packaging, and replenishment systems at a Carrier manufacturing facility, supporting the operation with efficient, lean line-side presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Designs material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.
Defines packaging, containers, and material handling parameters.
Implements pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.
Supports warehouse design and logistics layouts.
Supports NPI launches and production ramp-up activities.
Analyzes and optimizes inventory and flow.
Strengthen warehouse optimization and line-side material presentation responsibilities.
Owns inventory optimization, replenishment performance, and material flow efficiency.
Expands expectations around data analytics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of materials-engineering or logistics-engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.
Experience designing material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.
Working knowledge of packaging, containers, and material-handling parameters.
Experience implementing pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.
Proficiency with design and analysis tools for logistics/flow. Experience supporting new production lines.
Knowledge of Lean Logistics.
