Carrier is now recruiting for a Sr. Associate Human Resources Generalist to join the team in Mississauga, ON.

About the Role:

This exciting role is best suited for an established professional in the Human Resources Generalist discipline. The successful candidate will calculate statistics related to personnel data, clarify human resource programs, policies, plans and procedures as well as develop human resources documents, and assist with employee relations issues and Talent Management programs.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Compiles and analyzes statistical or personnel-related data, such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates; ensures the applicable data is current and accurate

  • Addresses human resources policies, procedures, plans and programs consistent with applicable employment laws and regulations; confirms that employment laws and regulations are followed accordingly

  • Creates, reviews and updates human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks and directories, or performance evaluation forms to ensure human resources process and program efficiency

  • Addresses HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees in an assigned department or business unit. Uses tools or resources to resolve issues, partnering with applicable HR specialists when necessary

  • Works to educate and engage employees on employee relations issues and initiatives.

  • Manages elements of diversity, recruiting and retention strategy, efforts and programs

  • Participates in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organization needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 3 years in an HR Generalist function

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CHRP Designation

  • Experience leading HR projects

  • Stand out knowledge of MS Office suite of products
